Today, thousands of medical workers fight daily and around the clock for every heartbeat - in bomb shelters, hospitals, and at home.
Our doctors demonstrate professionalism and the power of humanity, which strengthens our confidence in victory.
With every heartbeat, we thank our doctors for every life saved.
Fighting for life under any conditions is the most honourable thing. We want to celebrate the courage of our medics and tell their stories.
The world should know them all.

«Responding to emergency calls like the rocket attack on Kramatorsk railway station is not something you can forget.»
«Those were the days of hell. Bombs fell on our heads, and children died in our arms.»
«It is difficult and dangerous to move premature children to the shelter. Complications begin immediately.»
«Sirens are wailing, and the Ukrainian flag is flying outside the window, and... a newborn baby gives its first cry. Life goes on.»
«In these past five months, so much happened I could fill a book with these stories. We all gave our best.»
«You're on the road, resuscitating a patient with a heart attack, in the dark, passing roadblocks, and something is constantly buzzing, exploding, falling...»
«I arrived first and started triaging patients. All of Serhiivka was up in smoke, and people were frantically begging for help.»
«I was among medical personnel that evacuated people from Bucha, Irpin, and Borodyanka. You go there, see this destruction, and understand that we live in terrible times...»
In this project, the Ministry of Health, as a state institution, represents and honours the professional contribution of medical workers in their fight for the lives of Ukrainians.
Their work now is much more difficult, both physically and psychologically. There is now incomparably more work because other diseases have not disappeared. Despite everything, medical workers show resilience and endurance, and are worth of respect and gratitude.
We want to highlight their work in these times to the world because it is not only a professional but also a tremendous civic contribution.
